New Pupil Admissions into Our Reception Class

Middleton Cheney Primary Academy follows the agreed coordinated scheme set up by West Northants Council. Pupils are admitted according to the Admissions Policy below

The key dates for September 2026 admissions are:

• Portal for applications opens 10 September 2025
• Deadline for applications (Primary) is midnight on 15 January 2026
• National Offer Day (Primary) is 16 April 2026

In Year Admissions

This is coordinated for this academy by West Northants Council.  The 'in year' application process is for children requiring a school place during the academic year, rather than at the usual transfer time into a school at the beginning of Reception. This may be due to a house move or other change of circumstances.

Once an application has been processed, the parent will be contacted by letter. This will be emailed to the parent if an email address was provided on the application form.

Appeals.
