Part time (0.5), temporary (January to June) main scale teacher to work across key stages 1 and 2
Pupils across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education because of coronavirus. As part of our commitment to improving outcomes for all of our pupils at Middleton Cheney Primary Academy, we are seeking to appoint an excellent, highly motivated and caring teacher with high aspirations for children, to join our strong and dedicated team. The successful applicant, who will be employed via the Government COVID-19 catch-up funding, will work closely with class teachers to collectively contribute towards improving the progress and attainment for children disadvantaged by the Covid-19 pandemic by taking small groups, booster sessions and 1:1 catch up sessions.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Therefore the successful candidate would need to undergo a DBS check and be committed to the safeguarding of children.
