A sporting 'first'

Year 5/6 sportshall athletics - 22 January

Well done to Max Mumford, Charlie Macdonald, Thomas Ream, Matthew Knight, Jacob Brand, Josh Herbert, Maddy Dowden, Megan Macdonald, Maisey Anthony, Ruby Took, Evelyn and Eleanor Bowden. 

 

Our fantastic team won first place in the sportshall ahtletics festival at Chenderit School, competing against teams from seven other schools in the cluster. They competed in various types of relay races, including obstacles and hurdles, as well as chest push, speed bounce, standing long jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump and soft javelin. It was an extremely close result but our team just snatched victory. We're very proud of you all for your achievement.
