Trust in our name
11th Sept 2018
We've changed our name! The Multi Academy Trust (MAT) comprising Middleton Cheney, Chipping Warden and Kings Sutton primary schools has been relaunched to reflect a new structure, aims and vision and a shift in its strategic direction. The partnership is now known as PRIME7 Multi Academy Trust.
Watch our video here:
Our Trust has a shared vision to deliver maximum efficiency and the best outcomes for all pupils and is built on seven core principles and values (the reason for the PRIME7 name):
- Individual schools that retain their unique identities as part of their local communities
- High standards in teaching and learning
- Strong and strategic leadership
- Respect
- Integrity
- Nurture
- Resilience
Mrs Rayner, Head Teacher of MCPA was appointed CEO of PRIME7 and says: ‘We are delighted to be launching the rebranded PRIME7 Multi Academy Trust as it represents a big step forward in the strategic direction and management of the three member schools and will ultimately benefit the communities they serve.’
She added: ‘We are committed to working in partnership with the children as this will make the teaching and learning across the three schools so much stronger.
As part of the reorganisation, a new board of directors has been established to manage the trust’s affairs. Claudia Wade, Chair of PRIME7 Directors, said: ‘PRIME7 will build on the strengths already established. Working together more closely will enable us to spread the workload, identify and share best practice and achieve more for all the pupils.
‘We believe that schools working in partnership can help to provide security and stability for rural primary schools.’
She added that the re-launch of the Trust: ‘Is an opportunity for us to celebrate the excellent provision within the trust and to ensure that skills, knowledge and enthusiasm are shared and new ideas identified to help the MAT flourish’.
