Everdon 'Thankyou's
17th Oct 2015
Year 4 have all returned from their adventures on residential at Everdon Outdoor Centre. Each class spent two-and-a-half days hiking, exploring, den building, puppy meeting (extremely cute I heard!), fire lighting and much more. For many it would have been their first stay away from home and so was a great opportunity to develop a little bit of independence too. Photos will be following shortly.
Mr Blake's class returned to school on Thursday and have been busy writing thank you letters to the Centre. They worked so hard on their letters and made them very personal, each child mentioning some of their favourite activities, that we thought you might like to see them too. The children were enthusiastic about the idea of their work being appreciated by a wider audience - asking if Mrs Hornby in Scotland would be able to see it too. We hope you, and she, enjoy what you read and it gives you a flavour for their time away. Click on an image to expand it.
