Tudor homes and tidy balances

This term Year 1 have been learning about the Great Fire of London.
It is becoming a very exciting topic. As home learning they have built their own Tudor houses. I think you will agree they all look fantastic - thank you to all the family members who have helped with the design and building work. In class the children have been writing descriptions of their houses. They have have loved this topic so far and are very proud of their work, as are we.
Before half term Year 1 were taking part in gymnastics in indoor PE lessons. They worked on a range of skills which included extreme paired balances. Here are a few pictures of their balances.
