Pointed toes and forward rolls
13th Nov 2014
Last Saturday, Miss Hammond and I were lucky enough to take some very talented Year 1 and 2 children to take part in Wade Gymnastics annual school competition. It was our first time at the competition and we weren’t really sure what to expect. The competition was stiff with four schools taking part, Beachborough School, The Carrdus School and a school from Wellingborough. Our children had only had six short afterschool sessions to prepare for the competition but they did so brilliantly.
Although we didn’t come away with any medals this time, we certainly feel inspired to work even harder on our balances and rolls. The children were impeccably behaved and a real credit to the school. We are all looking forward to next time.
