We raised over £3000 for Cancer Research UK

A record breaking result.

Our pupils in Year 5 decided that they would like to organise a mini Race for Life for Cancer Research UK. They wrote a letter to all pupils in the school asking if they would like to participate. All participants had to donate a £1 to take part and they could also ask for sponsorship. The children had to run laps of the school field. The rain came down on the morning of 19th July 2019, but that didn't stop the children they ran and they ran and they ran. We raised over £3000 which is amazing and a record breaker for monies raised for a charity at MCPA. We would like to say a massive thank you to our year 5 pupils and teachers for organising this event and to every child that took part and finally to those of you that supported us in this event.
