Year 4 Residential Fun at Everdon
22nd Nov 2019
Welcome back to our year 4 pupils and staff who had a fantastic time away on their residential trip at Everdon Activity Centre near Daventry last week. Each class had two and a half days hiking, den building, bug hunting and exploring the countryside.
Some of the children's favourite memories of their time away:
"We were taught how to build a fire, then lit it using a flint, steel an cotton wool, it was amazing. We then toasted marshmallows on hazel tree sticks, they were yummy"
"I loved going into the woods and playing 123 where are you? Then the hiders have to say 123 we are here. Then the predators have to try and find their prey"
"My favourite thing was shelter building - it was great fun"
