Virtual anxiety workshops
During this difficult and changing time as we all respond to Covid 19 we know that we cannot run face to face workshops. However, we also know that anxiety is a big problem. That's why we have decided to take a big step and offer our Anxiety workshops as virtual workshops online via zoom.
Families can now sign up via the link below to join us on a range of dates looking at managing Anxiety. We will cover our normal content around what is anxiety? and what is causing it? as well as look at managing anxiety during the Covid 19 situation. We hope this will prove to be a useful resource for many families.
Online Safety Online Safety is additionally important during this time of lockdown with children spending more time than usual online and potentially accessing apps and software they do not usually use. Various agencies are issuing updated advice throughout this time to help parents and guardians manage the challenges of keeping children safe online safe. Each fortnight, CEOP will release new home activity packs with short activities you can do with your child to support their online safety. There are separate packs for children of different ages. Additional resources are here:
Wellbeing resources: SCARF are sharing resources and guidance about helping children to cope with the change and uncertainty we all face. Their current focus is on supporting children's mental wellbeing when many are feeling anxious or confused. Materials are available here:
