Wizard Bears and Bog Babies

Year 1 have had a busy, busy week. 

The children have been busy learning this week’s poem – Wizard Bear by John Foster.  It’s been lovely to hear about their special bears and comforters. You can read it here:

Despite the cold, all of the children had lots of fun learning new sporting skills at workshops run by the Year 11 Sport Leaders from Chenderit.

Another highlight was the work they did based on the beautiful book – The Bog Baby. The children searched high and low for their own bog babies and then brought them in to draw and write about. Luckily, one young lady brought her net so she was able to catch the bog babies that liked to hide in the trees. Keep searching boys – they’re somewhere in there!
